Fever & Les Sorcières
Do you know this wine??
It is so delicious that it is giving me Fever like Peggy Lee says in her song …
Can you hear it? This blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre is my treat!!
And as it is called, «les Sorcières*», be careful, if you ever take a risk on this wine for yourself, you might find a spell is cast over you…
« Les Sorcières* » comes from « le Clos des Fées », which means the « fairies plot » in french.
It is a double warning I would say about the experience you will have if you dare to try…
This winery located in the south of France, in beautiful and magical Languedoc Roussillon region, has already a reputation that we can’t deny.
Wine with a beautiful purplish-blue colour. Nose takes you on a spicy and black fruits journey with a touch of violet. Dry but fresh, fleshy tannins on your palate giving way to some liquorice flavors and a taste of blackberry. Incredible, large/wide texture with a persistent ending.
« Les Sorcières*» would be amazing on a tomato & mustard pie or as accompanying barbecued beef with some asparagus and crusty potatoes.
Enjoy it, but remember once you will have the first sip it will be the beginning of a terrible love affair…
